Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actress from Germany and Romania. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Being the sole daughter of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her professional career in showbiz at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young at the age of 16. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall her character as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra has been engaged in numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. These projects include the British Biographical Film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many others. She was also an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as and The Cannes Film Festival.
